What changed in Luanda
The new airport is 40 km out. That changes everything.
International flights now operate from Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ), roughly 40 kilometres south-east of the city. It used to be a ten-minute hop to your hotel, and you could risk taking whatever was waiting outside. Not any more: it is close to an hour on the road, often at night, after a long flight and with no local mobile data.

Which Luanda airport do international flights use?
Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (IATA code NBJ), about 40 km south-east of Luanda. Scheduled passenger operations have moved out of the old Quatro de Fevereiro airport. We pick up from whichever airport is on your ticket — just confirm it when you book.
How long does it take to reach the city?
Expect 45 to 70 minutes to downtown Luanda or Talatona, depending on traffic and arrival time. The price does not change if the drive takes longer.
How do I find my driver at the airport?
Your driver waits at arrivals holding a sign with your name. We send you their contact on WhatsApp before you land, so you are not depending on a local SIM the moment you step off the plane.
What if my flight is delayed?
We monitor your flight number. The driver adjusts automatically, with no extra charge for flight delays.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, per trip. The price in the table is final: fuel, tolls and waiting time included. No hidden fees and no haggling outside the terminal.
Does the driver speak English?
We have drivers who speak Portuguese and English. Tell us which you prefer when booking and we confirm it in writing before you arrive.
Can I pay in dollars or by card?
We accept payment in USD and in kwanzas. Available payment methods are confirmed when you book via WhatsApp — you do not need to withdraw cash at the airport.
Do you also do the return trip to the airport?
Yes. Book the arrival only, the departure only, or both at once. For the return we agree a pickup time based on your flight.
